Under the banner of Distance to Empty, Starla has built more than a racing program—she’s created a movement. At its core, DTE is a program designed to support and elevate Colorado women in cycling through awards, resources, and mentorship—helping riders set goals, build confidence, and pursue their potential. What began as Starla’s personal framework for resilience has grown into a platform that lifts others and expands opportunities within the sport.
